The DISCUS Ripster is the ideal solution for the mass import of DICOM CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.

Equipped with 1 to 10 drives, the DISCUS Ripster provides an extremely efficient solution to automatically import a large number of optical DICOM media into your PACS.

This saves our customers the time-consuming and labour intensive manual reading of often several thousand data carriers. The robot automatically transfers the data to a specific area of the PACS or to a NAS. If desired, certain DICOM header contents (eg prefix "CD_" before the patient ID) can be modified. When the external data is completely cleaned up, our software modifies the header with its own organizational data based on DICOM modality worklist entries or HL7 messages. Of course, this is done in accordance with the standards based on the IHE profile Import Reconciliation Workflow (IRWF). In combination with our control software, the import robot can be seamlessly integrated into any PACS.
